The 18th hour... 32 hours to finishing our Sherlock Holmes iPhone app

Yes we are still on track and working hard. The design is all done, along with most of the graphics... James has built the structure of the app and it is starting to look like a real app. Still quite a bit to go...

How did this all come about, you ask?

Well, we are huge Sherlock Holmes fans and have been looking forward to Guy Ritchie's new movie for months. So you can imagine how pleasantly we were surprised to just walk into Regent Street's Apple store yesterday and find Guy Ritchie and Lionel Wigram giving a talk. After the event we were inspired and sharing our Sherlock Holmes knowledge in a cafe in Soho. We just couldn't settle who was the biggest fan and could someone really be considered a fan if they have only watched the Sherlock Holmes children cartoons?

We had to settle this once and for all the only way we knew how. But no, the app didn't exist on the App store. We thought we did have a very busy schedule but we could certainly spare a weekend. And shock on it and here we are...

In the meantime here is the trailer for the movie (oops, embedding has been disabled but it has a link to the original YouTube page and you can play it from there).

By sharing our knowledge do you mean you were talking with guy Ritchie and the wager is with him?

No, but I wish! We were bragging between ourselves...

So who did you bet with?

Between James, Mia and some friends... Well we couldn't just say no.
